Wiregrass Daily News caught up with Dothan United Soccer this morning as Team Captain #23 Will Noecker and Aaron McCreight stopped by to preview this weekend’s home match against Columbus United. After a road win earlier in the season, the Dragons are expecting a determined Columbus side looking for payback at Rip Hewes Stadium.
The match also marks Youth Sports Night, with free admission for kids who wear their own team jerseys — a perfect outing for families and young athletes across the Wiregrass.
Will highlighted the importance of building strong community ties through fan interaction, which fuels the team’s energy on the pitch and enhances the matchday atmosphere.
Dothan United welcomes everyone to come out and enjoy the experience, hoping even non-soccer fans will leave as a new Dragon fan.

If elected, Watson plans to work closely with county leadership to align Cowarts with broader regional initiatives, improving access to services and creating new opportunities for the town. He also emphasizes the importance of transparency and community involvement in local government.
